Macedonian entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 is Vlatko Ilievski with the song Rusinka (Russian Girl). A big victory for Vlatko Ilievski was decided both in the TV-vote and the jury with his song Rusinka and will go on to represent FYR Macedonia in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf.

Vlatko Ilievski was born on 2 July 1985 and he is a Macedonian rock singer. He was the runner-up to be the Macedonian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. He previously appeared at Eurovision in 2005 as backing vocals for Martin Vučić. He was a member of rock band Morality. He was a student of acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Skopje, where he graduated in 2010 with the drama “Anger”. He started his solo career in 2007. His famous songs аre “Небо”(performed at Оhrid fest 2008), “Уште си ми ти”, “Со Други Зборови”(performed at the European song contest “Skopje 2008″ Metropolis Arena) and more. His first solo concert was on June 5, 2010, in the Boris Trajkovski Hall, Skopje, Macedonia, one of the largest arenas in the country. He filled the venue with an audience of around 10,000, duetted with Tamara, and was joined on-stage by his old band. Ilievski is filming a TV series to be broadcast in September.

Macedonia will compete in the second half of the second Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, on 12 May. Dusseldorf is waiting for Macedonian representative Vlatko Ilievski. Will he win Eurovision 2011?
