Over 900 people take part in Eurovision promo castings

The second round of castings, for the promotional videos to introduce Azerbaijan for the Eurovision Song Contest has finished already. According to information from eurovision.az, a total of 363 candidates of various ages took part in the second casting.

Public interest in the castings was felt from the very beginning and until the end. Selections lasted for 8 hours from 12:00 to 20:00.

According to Tahir Aliyev, the manager of the castings, about 1 000 people took part in competition. 388 candidates participated on January 6th selections and 363 took part in the castings yesterday, on February 4th.

As well, more than 200 people from different parts of the world have sent their photos to the Eurovision Song Contest Baku 2012 Core Team by e-mail.

Participants of casting held yesterday, on February 5th, expressed their desire to be known in Europe with the slogan Light your fire!

The successful candidates will be invited to the next phase. They will be informed by the 15th of February.
