Azerbaijani duo made a huge buzz in Moscow

Last week Azerbaijani duo Eldar & Nigar, this year’s Eurovision Song Contest winners, visited Moscow and paid their respects to the Russian fans. As was promised before Eurovision, Eldar & Nigar are visiting now their most devoted fans and Russia is among countries to visit – during Eurovision 2011 Russia gave 12 points to Azerbaijan and fans were waiting for Eldar & Nigar visit since winning Running Scared performance in Dusseldorf.

On June 2nd Eldar & Nigar was warmly welcomed at Zafferano club at special Eurovision party. Among guests there were Phillipp Kirkorov, Andrey Malakhov, Egor Konchalovsky and other Russian show-business stars. Before Zafferano’s party Eldar & Nigar gave a short press-conference. By the way, the best part of the evening was Eldar & Nigar stage performance.

And on the June 3rd romantic duo from the Land of Fire performed at top-rated Muz-TV Awards at Olympiyski with their winning song Running Scared. Eldar & Nigar presented the full version of Running Scaredstage performance including backing vocalists, the costumes and special effects as in the Eurovision Grand Final.

This year’s ceremony had also German legendary band Tokio Hotel and pop star Arash and soul sensation Craig David performing as well as Sharon Stone as the guest star visitor.
